Westfield 1 have explored molecular structures of carbon allotropes (different forms of carbon), including graphene, graphite and diamond. Students had a try at creating some of the molecular structures and they successfully managed to make a part of a graphene using plastic straws and plasticine. Everyone worked fantastically well together to support each other. Teamwork makes the dreamwork!
